Editorial Policy

Our editorial responsibility
Hashtag Ideas is founded and edited by Saikiran Rajagopal. The goal is to publish practical, transparent resources that help people choose relevant hashtags and understand platform-specific guidance without promising reach, followers or engagement.
How hashtag collections are created
Hashtags are grouped by topic and intended use. We remove obvious duplicates, weak matches and tags that do not fit the page topic. Priority pages also include examples, caveats and context so the page is useful beyond the raw list. We prefer descriptive tags over generic claims such as “viral” or “guaranteed growth”. Festival pages are written around the actual celebration, tradition or activity rather than treating every festival post as interchangeable.
Platform information
Platform-specific limits and recommendations are reviewed against publicly available platform documentation. Because social platforms can change their products and policies, pages include review dates and may be updated when material guidance changes. A recommendation on this site should not be treated as an official statement from Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X or any other platform.
Use of automation and AI-assisted drafting
Some editorial drafting and data-cleaning work can be assisted by software or AI. The site does not treat automated generation as proof of accuracy. Platform facts are checked against public sources, duplicate and format validation runs at build time, and priority pages are intended to receive final human review before launch.
Trending and viral terminology
Unless a page explicitly says that it uses live data, “trending” and “viral” describe editorial collections or commonly discussed hashtag ideas. We do not represent these pages as real-time measurements of platform trends.
Corrections and updates
If you find an incorrect hashtag, outdated platform statement, broken link or misleading description, please send the page URL and the specific correction through our contact page. Corrections are reviewed before publication.
